Cal. St. Film Crew - Bridging the Gap from Project to Product

We Believe that Film and Now Digital Video, is made of a culmination of all the arts: acting, photography, dance, fashion, architecture, story telling and song and all other arts and sciences. It is also a way to preserve these things for all of time and for all to see. “By networking students, graduates and professionals we believe that we can offer the experience so hard to receive in the arts and entertainment industry."

Our Videos are a Mix of Student and Professional Films, and in some cases, Both.

California State University, San Marcos provides access to members who can rent broadcast quality production equipment allowing us, the CSFC to use some of the latest technology.  We use Final Cut Pro and Avid and have dedicated Edit Labs equipped with G5 Macintosh PC's and we shoot using 3CCD DV NTSC cameras and can also shoot in 24p.  Some of our lenses are 50-300mm while others are fixed-camera lenses.
